4. Quotations and Acceptance

4.3 Authorisation to Proceed

5. Variations and Hidden Conditions

Construction environments may reveal concealed structural issues, deterioration, or non-compliant prior work.

  • Additional work will be communicated before proceeding
  • Unforeseen conditions may impact cost and completion dates
  • We are not responsible for defects or damage that were not reasonably detectable during initial assessment

6. Client Responsibilities

Clients agree to:

  • Provide safe and reasonable site access
  • Ensure availability of utilities where required
  • Remove or secure personal belongings from work areas
  • Provide timely decisions and approvals

Delays caused by restricted access, client instructions, or third-party interference may result in revised project schedules and costs.

7. Payment Terms

7.1 Structure

Payment terms will be outlined in the quotation or agreement and may include deposits, progress payments, and final balances.

7.2 Overdue Accounts

Failure to settle invoices within agreed timeframes may result in suspension of work and recovery action. Materials supplied remain our property until paid in full.

8. Standards and Regulatory Compliance

9. Workmanship and Defects

Any workmanship concerns must be submitted in writing within a reasonable period after completion.

Exclusions include:

10. Risk and Liability

We maintain appropriate contractor insurance coverage. However, to the extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for:

11. Site Safety

Work sites are controlled environments. Clients must ensure unauthorised individuals remain clear of work areas. We reserve the right to pause operations where safety risks arise.

12. Intellectual Property

13. Personal Information

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute shall fall under the jurisdiction of South African courts.
